Berks Arts Council continues its support of independent film in Berks County with their first monthly “Berks Arts CouncilPresents: A Night of Independent Film” being held at the RC Reading Movies 11 in Reading on January 25, 2009 at 7 PM featuring the documentary “Crawford” directed by David Modigliani.

“Crawford” is an award-winning documentary about a small town thrust into big-time politics and the human impact of political machinations.  It tells an often funny and deeply human story about “real ‘real people’” in small town America whose lives are altered by the lone choice of a soon-to-be-President.

Following the film there will be a discussion of the film and the Bush presidency with Dr. Tim Blessing, professor of political science at Alvernia University.
